User Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how people and authorised organisations can ask Orbiis to review and delete personal information from the website, application, or supported connected communications, where applicable.

Email a deletion request

1. Who may request deletion

Individuals, authorised Agency representatives, and people whose information is processed through Orbiis may contact us about deletion of relevant personal information.

If your information was collected by a travel agency or another business using Orbiis, that Agency may be responsible for the underlying customer relationship. Orbiis may need to coordinate with the relevant Agency to resolve the request.

2. How to submit a request

Send an email to hello@orbiis.io with the subject 'Orbiis Data Deletion Request'. Please state whether you are an Orbiis account holder, Agency representative, or an individual contacting us about information held by an Agency.

To help identify the correct records, provide your name, a reply email address, the relevant Agency or business name if known, and a brief description of the account, conversation, or other information at issue. Mention WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram if your request relates to a connected channel.

Do not email passwords, access tokens, payment-card details, or unnecessary identity documents. If verification is needed, we will explain the appropriate next step.

3. What information a request may cover

A request may concern Orbiis business account or authorised-user information, business contact details, website communications, or information supplied to an Agency workspace such as customer, traveller, enquiry, quotation, or booking records.

Where a supported communications channel is actually connected and enabled, a request may also concern available WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram messages, identifiers, attachments, timestamps, or other channel information stored through Orbiis.

The information available for review depends on the services used and whether Orbiis holds or controls the relevant records. The mention of a channel does not mean that channel is already generally available.

4. How we handle the request

We review the request, identify the relevant service or Agency, and may verify the requester’s identity or authority before acting on protected records.

Where an Agency is responsible for customer or traveller information, we may coordinate with that Agency. We assess what may be deleted, restricted, or retained under the applicable agreement, platform requirements, and law, and will communicate an outcome through an appropriate contact channel.

Submitting a request does not automatically delete data, and we do not promise an identical processing deadline for every request. Requests will be assessed in light of applicable requirements.

5. When some information may be retained

Certain information may need to be kept where required or permitted by law, legitimate business recordkeeping, fraud prevention, security investigation, dispute resolution, or other applicable obligations.

When immediate deletion is not appropriate, we may assess restriction or another appropriate response and explain the relevant outcome where possible.

6. Data held by Meta or other providers

Orbiis can review requests about personal information it processes within its own systems or applicable service arrangements. Meta and other independent platforms may retain separate copies or related information under their own privacy policies and deletion processes.

A request to Orbiis does not by itself erase records held outside Orbiis's control. You may need to use the relevant third-party provider’s privacy or account controls for those records.

7. Contact and related policies
